This is a non-tenure-track, renewable position.   The faculty member will teach sections of an in-person, 100-level Theology course (e.g., Foundations of the Christian Tradition) and serve as academic advisor and mentor to a cohort of students. We seek colleagues with a record of success in teaching theology courses, expertise in culturally responsive pedagogy, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Faculty are expected to teach in-person three sections of theology per semester and provide intensive mentoring and advising. The successful candidate will also teach an online course during January and every other summer (additional compensation is given for online courses). This is a full-time 10-month non-tenure track, renewable position (starting August 1, 2024).

The Department of Mathematics at the University of St. Thomas is looking for adjunct faculty members to teach lower-level mathematics for upcoming semesters (fall/spring/summer). The School of Nursing at the University of St. Thomas seeks adjunct instructors of nursing for upcoming semesters. These instructors are for a pooled, adjunct faculty position for continuous recruitment. Review of candidates is typically done two times annually – spring/summer and late fall/winter. Teaching load generally includes clinical instruction and may include theory instruction, depending upon program needs and enrollments. The School of Social Work at the University of St. Thomas seeks adjunct instructors with primary responsibility to the Social Work field education program for upcoming semesters (fall/spring/summer). Field Education offers BSW and MSW students the opportunity to advance their learning through engagement in field practicums within community agencies engaged in social work practice.    The Field Faculty Liaison will: - Teach a field seminar course - Serve as field liaison between the school and field agencies and oversee students' educational focus in placements. This includes participation in agency site visits and consulting with students and agencies to problem solve concerns, as needed. - Attend a monthly field faculty team meeting to consult on student issues, course assignments, and program updates/ Communicate with non-field social work faculty as needed to support student learning. The School of Social Work at the University of St. Thomas seeks adjunct instructors of social work for upcoming semesters (fall/spring/summer). Teaching load generally ranges from one to two courses per semester, depending upon department needs and enrollments. The Susan S. Morrison School of Nursing (SON) in the Morrison Family College of Health at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, invites applicants for a tenure-track assistant professor position. We seek applicants who are committed to teaching excellence, both within a traditional BSN and accelerated pre-licensure MSN program. The successful applicant will teach a range of nursing courses, however current needs prioritize subject matter expertise in the following areas: pathophysiology, pharmacology, acute and chronic care, and health assessment. In addition, applicants will advise nursing students and participate in service activities in the school, college, and university. The standard teaching load for this position is six courses in an academic year and all areas of nursing research/scholarship will be considered. The University of St. Thomas’s Department of Computer and Information Sciences (CISC) invites applications for a Teaching Professor faculty position in Computer Science. The appointment will begin in fall 2024, and the search committee welcomes applicants with expertise in teaching our service courses focused on business applications. The University of St. Thomas invites applications for a 12-month adjunct faculty position in World History, beginning in September 2024 through August 31, 2025. The successful candidate will teach HIST 112: History of the Modern World Since 1550 with the potential to also teach in their area of scholarly expertise. Ability to teach East Asian history is welcomed but other fields of specialization will be considered. Teaching load includes six courses taught in-person, three courses fall 2024 and three courses spring 2025 on a schedule to be determined.   This is a 12-month adjunct non-tenure track position. The compensation range is $35,000-$39,000 a year (depending on education and experience) plus health benefits.
