The University of St. Thomas invites applications for a 12-month adjunct faculty position in World History, beginning in September 2024 through August 31, 2025. The successful candidate will teach HIST 112: History of the Modern World Since 1550 with the potential to also teach in their area of scholarly expertise. Ability to teach East Asian history is welcomed but other fields of specialization will be considered. Teaching load includes six courses taught in-person, three courses fall 2024 and three courses spring 2025 on a schedule to be determined.
This is a 12-month adjunct non-tenure track position. The compensation range is $35,000-$39,000 a year (depending on education and experience) plus health benefits. Opportunity for continued employment beyond the Spring 2025 semester, depending on department needs.
