OVERVIEW

The Department of Software Engineering and Data Science in the College of Engineering at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for a Clinical (non-tenure track) faculty position with an expected start date of Fall 2027. 

 

As one of the longest running graduate professional technology programs with over 5,000 alumni, the Department offers MS in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, and Information Technology. Successful candidates will contribute to the growth of the department through innovative and inclusive teaching and research at the graduate level. All applicants must have demonstrable skills necessary for excellence in teaching.

Salary and Benefits

The University of St. Thomas offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits program, which includes:

The salary range for this position is $70,500 to $105,000.

 

The University of Saint Thomas has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the university may pay for position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (U.S or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, AI, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or related discipline is required, with significant industry experience.
