OVERVIEW

The Department of Finance in the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas (Twin Cities, Minnesota) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor, Department of Finance. Teach courses in corporate finance, financial management, investments, and other finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Maintain an active research agenda in area of expertise. Provide service to the Department, College and University. Courses taught may include, but are not limited to: FINC 324 - Corporate Finance and FINC 475 - Financial Modeling & Analytics. Courses may be taught at either our St. Paul main campus or at our other metro area campus in downtown Minneapolis. This is a full-time position with the University of St. Thomas in the Department of Finance in the Opus College of Business in the Twin Cities Metro Area (St. Paul – Minneapolis - Bloomington) Minnesota. The salary range is $170,000 to $185,000 annually.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements: A Ph.D. (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance or a closely related field. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and a demonstrated capacity to engage in scholarly research in corporate finance or related areas such as labor finance, and be willing to teach corporate finance subjects at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
