The Physics Department at the University of St. Thomas seeks adjunct instructors of physics for upcoming semesters (fall/spring) in the 2025-2026 academic year. Teaching load generally ranges from one to two courses per semester, depending upon department needs and enrollments.
Possible course assignments include Introductory Astronomy, laboratories for Introductory Astronomy, and Algebra and Calculus-based versions of Classical Physics. Both types of Classical Physics courses are offered with an integrated lecture/lab in a two-period block three days a week and count as a two-course load. Salary Range: The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5,994 to $6,717 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience.
