The University of St. Thomas Psychology Department invites applications for an adjunct faculty appointment, to teach one or more sections of General Psychology or other Psychology course in the faculty member’s area of expertise.
This posting is continuously open, and qualified applicants will be part of a pool of candidates for review biannually.
The salary range for the College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions ranges from $5,876 to $6,585 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course). Rate of pay is determined by academic credential and years of teaching experience.
Teaching load generally ranges from one to two lectures sections per semester, depending upon department needs and enrollments. We seek candidates interested in facilitating meaningful experiences between students and faculty that empower undergraduate students to find success and to solve challenging problems in service of the common good.

Qualifications
We will consider candidates that have an advanced degree in Psychology or closely related field. We encourage graduate students with an ABD status to apply.

The curriculum vitae should provide evidence that the candidate is qualified to teach the preferred discipline.
