OVERVIEW

The University of St. Thomas, Department of Psychology is seeking a candidate for a tenure-track position in Clinical/Counseling Psychology beginning Fall 2022. Teaching responsibilities (5-6 courses, depending on lab load, per academic year) may include introductory psychology, psychopathology, testing and assessment, counseling and psychotherapy, or personality theories. 

 

The department especially seeks individuals able to work with diverse students and colleagues, who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and perspectives, who are committed to working in a liberal arts setting and who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community:

QUALIFICATIONS

PhD (U.S. or foreign equivalent) and completion of internship required, or alternatively ABD nearing completion (with appointment at the rank of instructor) will be considered.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and show strong potential for productive research/scholarly activities. Applicants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or eligible for legally required exemption such as a medical or religious reason.
