American Sign Language Adjunct Instructor:
The Department of Modern & Classical Languages at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for the position of adjunct instructor of American Sign Language beginning in fall semester 2021 with likely continuation in the spring.
AMSL111 section 1 Beginning American Sign Language I, MWF 12:15-1:20
Fall semester officially begins on September 8. Final exams end December 22.
Applicants should have at least an MA degree in American Sign Language or an equivalent degree. We are specifically seeking candidates who are ASLTA certified and who are familiar with the TRUE+WAY American Sign Language (TWA) curriculum.
Experience teaching at the university level is preferred. Competency with technology such as Zoom and Canvas is also preferred.
