  • OVERVIEW

    The University of St. Thomas Department of Health & Exercise Science invites applications for a full-time Faculty position in Nutrition. The successful applicant will be expected to teach undergraduate nutrition and related courses and assist in developing a new program in nutrition.

     

    Additional assignments include: coordination of departmental student internships; development of community internship partnerships; placement, observation and evaluation of student interns in coordination with stakeholders. This is a non-tenure-track, renewable position.

     

    We seek applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level and who have interest and experience coordinating internships and community engagement opportunities for students. 

     

    We encourage applications from candidates who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and demonstrated success in working with diverse populations of students. This new faculty member also will provide leadership in developing curricula and experiential learning opportunities, with internships and service-learning throughout the community.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The qualified candidate must have excellent ability to teach undergraduates. A PhD or equivilant degree preferred; RDs and ABDs will be considered.
