  • OVERVIEW

    The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at the University of St. Thomas invites applications for a one-year visiting position at the Assistant Professor or Instructor Level beginning on September 1, 2018. Preference would be for candidates who can teach Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Crime and Delinquency, and Corrections. We are open to candidates with an interdisciplinary background who can also teach Introductory to Sociology along with the potential to teach specialty topics.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Applicants must hold at least a PhD or ABD status for Assistant Professor ranking or a Master’s degree for Instructor status. The degree should be in Sociology, Criminology, or closely related field (J.D. or L.L.B. is not sufficient).
