  • OVERVIEW

    The University of St. Thomas invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty member in the Physics Department.  

     

    JOB SUMMARY

    The faculty member will be under contract to teach a six course load of introductory Physics courses over a 12 month period, with no service or research expectations. Possible course assignments include Algebra and Calculus-based versions of Classical Physics and introductory Astronomy. Both types of Classical Physics courses are offered with an integrated lecture/lab in a two-period block three days a week and count as a two course load.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A Master's degree in Physics or closely related field.
    • Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
